Baseus Adaman Powerbank Review – More Power

Sometimes, you need extra juice for your devices; the Baseus Adaman Powerbank review talks about a small bank that does just that. The metallic power bank won’t be enough to power your laptops, but it can quickly become a travel companion for your smartphones and tablets.

I often travel, and my aging smartphone isn’t lasting as long as it did in its youth, so a power bank is a must-have accessory for me. The Baseus Adaman Powerbank checks all the major boxes for my usage; however, this won’t be enough for someone needing more power.

Design

The Baseus Adaman Powerbank review must highlight the design as it is one of the best. The metal body looks sleek and minimalistic. The monolithic design might not be for everyone, but this design language is excellent for people who prefer their accessories to be straightforward and sturdy. There isn’t much to talk about here, and the Baseus Adaman Powerbank is a metal-enshrouded power bank with no flashy design elements.

A small monochromatic LED screen on the power bank tells the power level. It’s a great way of knowing how much power remains on the bank, and there’s no need to use any companion app or look at small LED lights to see the charge. The red numbers on the screen add to the overall look of the bank, though. I liked the utility the screen provides; it’s an added advantage over other power banks in the same price segment.

The power bank also has a button on the side that lights up the battery level indication screen. You don’t need to attach a device to the bank to know the remaining charge. The light stays on when the power bank is charging a device or being charged itself.

Charging

The Baseus Adaman Powerbank has a 22.5-watt charger that charges most phones at an acceptable rate. Sure, it won’t be able to take on ultra-fast charging of modern Android phones like the Samsung S24 Ultra or the OnePlus 13, but it can still power everything. I’ve charged my 3300 mAh phone in almost 75 minutes. Overall, I’m satisfied with the performance on offer for the price.

There are ample ports, too, two standard USB A and a USB Type C for charging. Unfortunately, using all ports together for input will slow the charging to a crawl. I recommend charging one demanding device at a time. I could charge my phone and Acefast T9 earbuds simultaneously with no slowdowns. The Baseus Adaman Powerbank will get the job done, but it will take longer with bigger batteries.

Experience

The Baseus Adaman Powerbank is an excellent power bank for my limited usage. I used it on my camping trip, and it charged the Pimax Portal 2 times, effectively increasing my playtime. It’s also a slim power bank, barely noticeable inside the front pocket. I’ve regularly hiked with the power bank and the Anker Soundcore Liberty earbuds in my pockets without any fatigue or inconvenience.

The metallic body is also excellent for dissipating heat, and the charger remained cool to the touch overall. The USB ports get warm, but that’s standard with any charging equipment.

Conclusion:

The Baseus Adaman Powerbank has its perks: it is sleek, highly portable, and has a valuable LED screen. The bank has other variants with higher capacities and wattages, so you can upgrade as needed. However, the high-capacity ones also get bulky and won’t be easy to carry. Overall, the Baseus Adaman Powerbank can charge ordinary smartphones almost two times fully before draining, which is good enough for my usage. It’s a good choice if you value portability and style.
